Business Lease Group acquires KBC Autolease in Poland from KBC - 14-05-2012Zeist, The Netherlands, 14 May 2012 – Business Lease Group today has acquired KBC Autolease Polska, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KBC Lease Belgium NV.
Business Lease Nederland B.V. has observed that there is a great deal of concern in the lease market about the upcoming tax changes. Currently, the focus is mainly on the changes to the additional tax liability as of 1 July. Business Lease is, however, advising its clients to not only be aware of the additional tax liability, but also to look to the future.
Business Financial Services (BFS), a subsidiary of Business Lease Nederland, will carry out the lease activities of Chevrolet dealers under the name Chevrolet Leasing. This was announced during the AutoRAI car fair, as a partnership agreement was signed.
Secretary of State: change in law in early June for delivery vans without kilometre registration - 18-03-2011
The Secretary of State for Finance recently answered questions from the Dutch Second Chamber about the additional tax liability for delivery vans. His answers included the proposal to investigate whether kilometre registration could be abolished for delivery vans.
Kilometre registration to be abolished for delivery vans - 01-03-2011Secretary of State Frans Weekers told the Second Chamber in the Netherlands today, on 1 March 2011, that he would like to abolish kilometre registration for delivery vans. This proposal follows questions from the Chamber that highlight the wish to implement to purchase agreement for delivery vans used to drive less than 500 private kilometres each year. The exact details of the new purchase agreement are as yet unknown. The Secretary of State will further develop his plans in the coming months and include them in the car tax proposals to be submitted to the Second Chamber in early June. Delivery vans owned by self-employed persons will also be included in the plans.

The extension applies to EEV+ delivery vans, delivery vans with a factory-fitted diesel particulate filter and retrofit filters on lorries and mobile working machines, registered or unregistered by 30 September 2011 at the latest. Subsidy requests can be made until 31 December 2011.
